To speak with a criminal record expungement attorney, please contact our office. We can assist you with any of the following criminal record expungement matters:
Expungement
An expungement order will remove your arrest record as though it never existed. It will remove your record and will not be available to any government agencies or private sector employers or individuals. This remedy can be available for both felonies and misdemeanors if your case results in an acquittal or is dismissed. An expungement will also protect you if you are interested in higher education or professional programs. You can prevent colleges, universities, future employers, and government agencies from viewing a charge if it was dismissed or you were acquitted. If you get an expungement order, you can legally say that you have never been arrested.
Non-Disclosure If you have been arrested, we can (in certain situations) get the court to order that your record will not be disclosed to future employers. You may be able to get a non-disclosure order if you successfully completed a deferred adjudication probation. A non-disclosure order will remove the charge from public viewing, though law enforcement and certain governmental and licensing agencies will still be able to view your record. However, most sex offenses and domestic violence offenses are not charges which will be eligible for expungement, sealing, or non-disclosure.
Sealing of Records Dismissed criminal charges can be sealed with the assistance of an experienced attorney. If you have a juvenile criminal record, our attorneys can prepare a case on your behalf to seal the records.
